Q. Can I get a dedicated server?
A. Yes. For customers with complex and demanding web sites, we provide dedicated servers to handle the traffic. As the exclusive user of the server, your site will operate at higher speeds, with higher reliability and efficiently. The dedicated server also gives your site improved processing and the storage resources necessary to make it a more user-friendly site.
Q. Do you accept any other forms of payment besides credit card?
A. Yes, we also accept either personal checks or money orders. If you use these forms of payment, though, we ask that you pay for six months in advance in order to avoid problems with late payments. You will be able to get a refund of any unused portion of this money if you decide to cancel your account within this time frame.
Q. Do you support phpMyAdmin or have a web interface for MySQL?
A. Yes, phpMyAdmin is installed in the user control panel. You can use it to perform almost all needed operations on your database.
Q. Do you allow adult sites?
A. Sorry but we do not allow adult sites.
Q. Are there any other general restrictions?
A. In general we do not allow sites whose primary purpose is file downloads or transfer. We must have this restriction to ensure that all users receive fast, dependable service. Transfer only sites put an undue burden on our servers.
Q. Do you have a reseller program?
A. We have the Developer plan priced low enough to allow a reseller to setup multiple domains which can be resold.
Q. What currency are your prices in?
A. Our prices are in United States Dollars.
Q. What kind of servers do you have?
A. (July 2006) Our servers are DUAL AMD OPTERON servers that run Redhat Enterprise Linux 3. Current servers have fully Redundant SATA Hard Disks. All new clients are put onto the newest servers. Existing clients are moved to newer servers according to our upgrade schedule.
Q. How can I transfer my existing domain hosting to your server.
A. Using the tools your registrar gives you point your domain nameservers to the following:
Primary Nameserver : ns1.mudrush.com
Secondary Nameserver : ns2.mudrush.com

Background processes (which run continually), servers, bots, etc. are not allowed. The goal of our policy is simply to ensure that everyone on the server always has fast, smoothly running service. Unfortunatly, we sometimes have clients who sign-up with the intent of "offloading" their popular files to our servers (ie. cramming as many popular files, pictures, etc. onto their account as possible). This type of use is not acceptable. We have other "un-advertised" plans that might better suit your sites needs. We strive to accommodate all websites, big and small!
